Valley View Senior Cooperative Open House

On May 19, 2018 Valley View Cooperative had their biannual Open House that is open to the public as well as for those who have registered for the opportunity to purchase their own unit. It is always a very fun time and is a great opportunity for those in the market that are 55 years old and better to see exactly what Valley View Cooperative of Eden Prairie has to offer.

As we get a bit older it is a fantastic option for those who have decided (or realized?) that owning a home or renting is not always the best option. Living at Valley View Cooperative is a very good option for many. You no longer have to maintain your house and all the responsibilities that come with it. Unexpected repairs, assessments, etc., can make life difficult as most all of us have encountered on at least a few occasions.

The options? Valley View Cooperative is a great place to start. Gone are the days where you will have to replace doors, windows, roofs, driveways, mow the lawn, and the list goes on. A common phrase we often hear from our residents is that they wished they had made the transition 5 years earlier than they did. There is plenty of room for family to visit and there are even flower and vegetable gardens you can participate with and reap the fruits of your labor. Each resident has their own story of how deciding to live at V V C has been a great decision for them.

Holidays are a wonderful example of how meaningful living here has been to them. Many times family lives in other parts of the country and holidays can be quite lonesome and apartment living (rent) usually does not provide the sense of family we all need. At Valley View if you want to spend your holiday alone you are certainly welcome to do so but you might want people you come to know and trust to be near and have consistency surrounding you. Every holiday is taken into consideration and you will always have great people and food that is TOO good to miss just a few steps away. Sure, you might still miss your family sometimes but the difference close by friends can make is a great salve when needed.

Our Property Manager, Shannon (left in photo) can help you get the information you need to be placed on the V V C waiting list or alert you to our next Open House later this year. In the meantime, visit our FAQ's Page to learn a bit more about Valley View Cooperative.
