John, here are a couple of pictures on the “turtle catcher” .
 
Bill “the Turtle catcher” not lives at Valley View Cooperative. But he started catching turtles from the time he was 6 years old. He lived on a farm in northern Minnesota and he would catch turtles and they ate them.  Now as a “senior” he was able to catch a turtle under a car in our parking lot. We “did not” eat it.
 
Bill also has a pet turkey on the farm, it was his pet. When Bill was 2 or 3 the turkey would let him grab the tail feathers and be pulled around the yard.
